Fire Girl Jessica McGlothlin has always had an affinity for the outdoors and travel. Growing up in various locations across the United States and playing in the wide-open spaces of the West, Jessica calls Montana home.
She is a passionate writer and photographer who brings a unique, energetic perspective and approach to her work. Her written word in bold, bright, and honest. Currently based out of San Marcos, Texas, Jessica works freelance but loves to travel and is available any time, any place for assignments.
Published pieces have appeared in a wide range of publications, including Big Sky Journal, Fish Can’t Read, American Angler, Outside Bozeman, the Mountain Gazette, and Outside Rein.
Jessica is a passionate pistol shooter, bow hunter, fly fisherman, hiker, and snowshoer. Other interests include the military, law enforcement, travel, current events, and equestrian sport. She is a member in good standing of Lightstalkers and the National Press Photographer’s Association.
Jessica’s goal is to make the leap to international journalism, but she plans to enjoy the journey that takes her there and shoot a plethora of good pictures along the way. She is available for contract, editorial, and assignment work.
